ROVR — Privacy Policy

Peach Family Brands ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located in Adairsville, Georgia, United States, operates the ROVR mobile application ("App" or "ROVR"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use ROVR.

By creating an account and using ROVR, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. We encourage you to read this policy in full, but we have structured it with clear headings so you can find the information most relevant to you.

1. Information We Collect

2. Location Data — Detailed Disclosure

Because location data is particularly sensitive, we want to be especially clear about how we handle it.

Key Principle: ROVR collects location data only during active drives, shares it only with drive participants, and does not sell location data to any third party.

2.1 When Location Data Is Collected

Location data (GPS coordinates) is collected only when you actively join and participate in a group drive or use the route navigation feature. Collection begins when you start a drive and ends when you complete or leave the drive. ROVR does not collect your location in the background, when the App is closed, or during general browsing of the App.

2.2 Who Sees Your Location

During an active drive, your real-time location is shared with the other participants in that specific drive. Your location is not visible to users who are not part of the drive. After a drive is completed, your route data is saved as part of your drive history, accessible only to you unless you choose to share it.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your location data to third parties for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any other commercial purpose. Period.

2.5 Location Data Sharing with Service Providers

Your location data is transmitted to Mapbox solely for the purpose of providing map rendering and route navigation services. Mapbox processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and our data processing agreement with them. No other third-party service receives your location data.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We share data with the above services solely to operate and provide the ROVR platform.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

Payment Information Payment card details are stored by Stripe, not by us. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
Device and Usage Data Retained in aggregate or de-identified form for analytics purposes. Individual-level data is deleted within 12 months of collection.
Voice Chat Not retained. Voice communications are real-time only and are not stored.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

6.1 Access Your Data

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can access much of your data directly through the App (your profile, drive history, posts, etc.). For a comprehensive data export, contact us at cal@peachfamilybrands.com.

6.2 Correct Your Data

You can update your profile information, vehicle details, and other account data directly through the App at any time. If you need to correct information that is not directly editable, contact us.

6.3 Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. You can delete your account through the App's settings, which will trigger deletion of your associated data as described in Section 5 above. You may also request deletion of specific data (such as individual drive history records) without deleting your entire account by contacting us.

6.4 Export Your Data

You have the right to request a portable copy of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format. Contact us at cal@peachfamilybrands.com to request a data export. We will fulfill your request within 30 days.

6.5 Opt Out of Notifications

You can manage your notification preferences through the App's settings. You may also disable push notifications at the device level through your phone's settings. Note that certain transactional communications (such as account security notices and legal updates) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

6.6 Location Permissions

You can control ROVR's access to your device's location services through your device's settings at any time. Note that disabling location access will prevent you from participating in group drives and using route navigation features.

6.7 How to Exercise Your Rights

We will verify your identity before processing your request and respond within 30 days (or within the timeframe required by applicable law). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

7. Children's Privacy

ROVR is not intended for use by individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at cal@peachfamilybrands.com so we can take appropriate action.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide written authorization from you and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us.

ROVR is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence. By using ROVR, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and the application of United States law as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will:
